Hijra

Hijra are biological/anatomical males who reject their 'masculine' identity in due course of time to identify either as women, or “not-men”, or “n-between man and woman”, or “neither man nor woman”. Hijra is a culture & being a part of Hijra community requires acceptance from other Hijra prominant members.

Kotis

Kotis can be defined as males who show obvious feminine mannerisms and who are involved mainly, if not only, in receptive anal/oral intercourse with men. A significant proportion of Kotis have bisexual behavior and many also eventually get married to a woman.
