Lakshya Trust aims to develop a resource centre for designing and implementation of sexual health programmes, researches and capacity building of community members. The key strength of Lakshya is the timely need assessment. It has been performing the need assessment right from the beginning of the project till date.

Lakshya facilitated the formation of two community based organizations i.e. Shaarthi (Maharashtra) and Humsafar Kashmir (Jammu and Kashmir) and also supervised a basic situational analysis of the MSM population in the cities of Himmatnagar, Godhra, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar (Gujarat State) and also for the Union Territories of Diu and Daman – 2006.

 

 

PEHCHAN – Project by Global Funds for AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) - Round 9.

The project mainly aims at giving Social Entitlements and other friendly services to the MSM population, their female partners, TG (transgender) and Hijra population such as PLHIV Support, Adherence, Mental Health Counseling and referral services. Lakshya Trust basically aims at giving TI+ services to its population and making all the possible services deliver at one stop. The project is funded by HIV/ AIDS Alliance in India and Global Funds round 9.
